Season 2015
Main Event 2015
This event was not the best for the team. With Nigel breaking the UJ on propshaft at the RWYB the weekend before being the start of the problems, Nigel then broke his gear box before getting the chance to go on the cruise.
Nick also had problems with engine damage. Hopefully both cars will be out for Summer Nationals alongside Ricky and Jemma.

Second round of eliminations Ricky faced Felicity Gibbs and won by 0.0632 off his dial in.
The semi finals saw Ricky take revenge for Nigel being knocked out and stealing the final from Steven Cherret.

Festival of Power 2015
First event of the year and all three cars were racing. Ricky in Sportsman ET with the Supra defending his championship. Ricky qualified 2nd with 0.0217 off his dial in, then was sadly knocked out in the first round by Jon Crawford.
Both Nigel and Nick being in Topspeed Automotive Street Elminator meant that we could go out on the cruise which was an amazing experince. Nick qualifed 13th with a 10.8279 @ 125.45 mph, however on the cruise the Merc failed to start with the 5 mins of the hot start due to the alternator failure which meant we were unable to compete in the eliminations. Nick would have faced Mark Todd in the Pontiac GTO.
Nigel qualifed 14th with 11.9021 @ 108.99 mph, Nigel's truck was successful on the cruise and was able to compete in the first round of eliminations. In round one he faced Gary Gooding in the Team Extreme Project Supra, sadly Nigel didn't win.

Big Bang
Redneck Racing was represented by Ricky this event in the supra. We were fortunate to have 6 qualification runs due to excellent weather and was really pleased when qualifying second. The first pairing in the eliminations being against Matthew Moxon with the Mustang; Ricky dialed in a 14.75 and ran a 14.88 sadly this was not close enough and he was beat to the line. Ricky was happy with the car this event and is looking forward to Festival of Power next week.

Dinner Dance and Trophy Presentation.
Redneck Racing attended the Dinner dance in full suit attire and didn't we scrub up well. With a trophy to be presented to Nick "Nicky" Hale for coming joint runner up in the Shakespeare County Raceway Sportsman ET championship, along with Ian Jackson. A big congratulations to Craig Wright and Stephen Cherrett for their wins.

Open Sport Nationals
After a very busy period at work, this weekend of racing was a much needed break. With great qualification rounds and lovely weather!
Qualification round left Nigel in 4th, Nick in 5th and Ricky in 7th, all the team were excited for the 1st round of eliminations. Nigel was against Steven Cherrett, Nick against Dave Nicol and Ricky against Ian Jackson. Sadly, both Ricky and Nigel lost their races. There was contraversy on the track for Nicks run; Dave had not rescruitneered which meant he should not have been allowed to race, this lead to his disqualification.
In round 2 eliminations Nick was against

Bug Jam 27
An amazing weekend with great weather, however the team did not do so great. Nick ran consitant 16.0s in the RWYB on Friday, yet in competition the times were inconsistent.
During qualifications Nigel qualified 9th, Ricky 8th and Nick 12th
1st round eliminations saw
Ricky racing Stephen Cherrett, Cherrett won.
Nick racing Brian Pateman, Brian beat Nick by 0.15 seconds
Nigel racing Ferret, Ferret winning
Sadly this meant all of the team did not advance.
A huge well done to Brian for winning the event!

After a few rounds of qualifications over the past two days we go into eliminations. Nigel is 1st, Ricky 3rd and Nick (Nicky) 4th. For the first round Nigel has a bye run, Ricky is against Craig Wright and Nick is against Ian Jackson.
In the first round of eliminations Ricky was against Craig, sadly Ricky did not win this race. Nigel had a bye run and NICKY(tehe) was against Ian Jackson. With Nick winning and going onto the next round. With Nigel against Craig and Nick against Ozzy Brown; the finals are a repeat of the first round with Nick verses Craig.
In this close race Nick sadly did not win and came second. The current standings in the championship is to follow soon.
We have also confirmed that Matt did break his little finger at the event...... so his complaining is valid.

Big Bang
Well it defiantly went with a BANG!!!
Saturday:
With the unpredictable weather of rain, sunshine and hail storms we got one round of qualifiers in with Ricky qualifying 1st, Nick 6th and Nigel 7th.
Sunday:
During qualifying round 2 Ricky moved to 2nd with Nick and Nigel staying in their positions. 3rd round of qualifying we saw Ricky in 3rd, Nigel in 6th and Nick in 7th.
4th round leaves Nigel in 3rd, Ricky in 4th and Nick in 5th.
Elimination Round 1 was very eventful for us Rednecks; as Nigel firstly was knocked out by Ferret. Yet, it was Ricky who was in the spot light as he won the race against Ian Jackson in "Orrid Enry" but unfortunately this was over shadowed by cloud of smoke. With the crews unsure on who had crashed the startline was a very tense place; after the brilliant stewards at Santapod they reassured us both drivers were okay and that Ricky had made contact with the wall.
After Ricky drove his injured car back to the pits we assessed that most of the damage was cosmetic and that it was nothing a bit of filler couldn't fix. Ricky did have one war wound; a slight bruise or friction burn on his elbow and feeling a little sore.
Currently the team are waiting on parts as the ball joint was worn and needed replacing. Fingers Crossed that the car will be ready for Shakey this weekend, if not the team will be all racing their daily drivers.
