Welcome to Redneck Racing!
Welcome to the Redneck Racing website. Keep up to date on our cars, drivers and race news.
Current News:
Apologise for the page not been kept up to date, university work had to come first.
Firstly, well done to Ricky for winning the Sportsman ET National Championship, the Shakey Championship and coming runner up in the SPRC Championship!! A very proud team who are very excited to defend the title.
With both Nigel's and Nick's cars being tested in Street Eliminator we knew there would be breakages. Sadly, both cars broke during Main Event at Santa Pod in May. Nigel damaged the main output shaft on the gear box which was caused by the rear axel to shift back slightly during launch and pulling yolk out of the rear of the gear box. Then going back in causing the shaft to snap, thankfully the gearbox has now been repaired at Penn Auto and will be fitted as soon as possible.
Nick had engine damage due ot a fault in the carb; this causing the engine to run lean and damage 4 pistons. The engine is currently in for repair at the moment with hope to be out for Summer Nationals but this is optimistic.
Summer Nationals will be an interesting event with up to four cars representing Redneck Racing! Depending on repairs there will be Nick with the Merc, Nigel with the Truck, Ricky with the Supra and Jemma with the Supra. This will be Jemma's first event but she is very excited to race in Sportsman ET.
2014: Nick's and Nigel's engines are being installed into the cars and all piping, electrics and other bits are being installed. This will be a long process as work is very busy; however we will be testing as soon as the cars are ready and the drivers are happy with them. Check each cars page for updated news on the work.

This site is the offical website for fans of Redneck Racing Drag Team. This will be updated as often as possible with information about the cars, drivers, events and projects the team are working on.
The team currently consists of three drivers:
Nigel Hale running the Chevrolet 572 Pickup
Nick Hale running the Mercedes 280 CE
Ricky Hale running the Toyota Supra
No team is successful without the help of their crew members:
Jack Hale, Jemma Hale, Jo Hale, Barbra Hale, Courtney Hale,Matt Waugh, Steve Clayton and many more.
If we are not running down the 1/4 mile at Santa Pod or Shakey, we are modifying the cars to make them more interesting for both ourselves and the spectators.
For information on recent races please see "Events and Championships"
